Privacy Policy
Effective May 17, 2026
Sherri Lynn Breathwork (“Sherri Lynn Breathwork,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit sherrilynnbreathwork.com or interact with our services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using the site you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, phone number, and any messages, intake responses, or booking details you submit through forms on the site.
- Booking, scheduling, and payment information — when you book a session or event, the necessary details are processed through trusted third-party scheduling and payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Automatically collected information — such as your IP address, browser type, device characteristics, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits.
- Cookies and similar technologies — small data files stored on your device, used for essential site functionality and, with your consent, for analytics. See Cookies & Tracking below.
- Health, wellness, and intake information — voluntarily provided by you when completing intake or waiver forms. This information is sensitive and treated with care.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or precise geolocation, and we do not sell or rent your information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Schedule, confirm, and deliver breathwork sessions, events, and trainings;
- Respond to inquiries, provide customer support, and follow up about sessions you have attended or expressed interest in;
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the site and the services offered through it;
- Send transactional communications (such as booking confirmations) and, where you have opted in, occasional updates or newsletters;
- Understand how visitors use the site so we can make it better (analytics);
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) apply, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for example, for analytics cookies and marketing emails); the performance of a contract with you (such as fulfilling a booking); our legitimate interests (such as keeping the site secure and improving it); and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Cookies & Tracking
Essential cookies are required for the site to function (for example, to remember your sign-in state in the administrator area). These do not require consent.
Analytics cookies help us understand which pages and content are useful to visitors. These are only loaded after you opt in through the cookie banner. You may change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the site footer.
Many browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no widely accepted industry standard for DNT, we do not currently respond to DNT signals, but we honor the choice you make through our cookie banner.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy
Sherri Lynn Breathwork's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. When the site is authorized by an administrator to connect to a Google Calendar, it accesses only the calendar data necessary to publish and keep our public events list in sync. Calendar data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not transferred to anyone except as required to provide the service or by law.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed and only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the site and our business — including hosting, database, scheduling, payments, email, form, and analytics providers. They are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us and are required to safeguard it.
- Legal and safety recipients — when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sherri Lynn Breathwork, participants, or the public.
- Successors in interest — in the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to this policy.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain personal information only for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Booking and intake records are typically retained for the period necessary to provide ongoing client care and to meet recordkeeping standards. You may request deletion at any time using the contact details below.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- The right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used;
- The right to access or obtain a copy of your personal information;
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information;
- The right to request deletion of your personal information;
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share);
- The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information;
- The right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
- The right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority;
- The right to be free from retaliation for exercising any of these rights.
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the rights listed above. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law.
EU, EEA, UK, and Swiss residents have rights under the GDPR and equivalent local laws, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection.
To exercise any of these rights, email sherrilynnbreathwork@gmail.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
9. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and provide a clear opt-out mechanism.
10. Children's Privacy
The site is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Health & Wellness Disclaimer
Breathwork is offered as a wellness practice. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any health information you choose to share with us through intake forms or in conversation is used solely to inform your participation in breathwork sessions and is handled with discretion. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical condition.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information — including encryption in transit, restricted access to systems holding personal data, and authentication on administrative tools. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
14. Third-Party Links
The site may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective Date” above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
