Getting Started

Breathwork is an active form of meditation that uses conscious, controlled breathing patterns to access deeper states of awareness, release stored tension and emotions, and create shifts in your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. It's a powerful tool for healing, stress relief, and self-discovery.

Not at all! Breathwork is accessible to everyone, regardless of experience level. I'll guide you through every step of the process. Whether it's your first session or your hundredth, I meet you exactly where you are.

Avoid eating a heavy meal 2 hours before your session. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. Come with an open mind and no specific expectations. Bring water to drink afterward. That's really it!

Wear comfortable clothes that you can breathe easily in—think yoga pants, sweats, or anything loose and stretchy. You'll be lying down, so comfort is key.

During the Session

You'll lie down comfortably with your eyes closed while I guide you through specific breathing patterns. Music plays in the background to support your experience. The session typically lasts 60 minutes for 1:1 and 90 minutes for group sessions, including time for settling in and integration afterward.

Everyone's experience is unique. Common experiences include: physical sensations like tingling, warmth, or coolness; emotional releases like tears, laughter, or a sense of peace; visual imagery or memories; deep relaxation; insights or clarity. There's no 'right' way to experience breathwork.

Breathwork is generally very safe for healthy individuals. You are always in control and can stop or slow down at any time. I create a safe, trauma-informed container and am with you every step of the way. We'll discuss any health concerns before your session.

This is completely normal and actually a sign that something is releasing! Breathwork often brings up stored emotions that are ready to be processed. You're in a safe, judgment-free space to feel whatever comes up. This is actually part of the healing.

Sessions & Pricing

1:1 sessions ($80, 60 min) are completely personalized to your needs with my undivided attention. Group sessions ($45, 90 min) offer the powerful experience of collective breathing and community connection. Both are transformative—it just depends on what you're looking for.

This varies by person and goals. Some people benefit from weekly sessions, especially when working through something specific. Others come monthly for maintenance. We can discuss what rhythm feels right for you after your first session.

Yes! I offer session packages at a discounted rate for those who want to commit to consistent practice. Contact me for current package options.

Life happens! I ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged a fee. Contact me directly if you have an emergency.

Health & Safety

Please consult with me before booking if you have: cardiovascular conditions, high blood pressure, epilepsy or seizure disorders, severe mental health conditions, are pregnant, have had recent surgery, or have severe respiratory conditions. Many of these can be accommodated with modifications.

Gentle breathwork can be adapted for pregnancy, but the intense styles I typically facilitate are not recommended. Please let me know if you're pregnant so we can discuss modified options.

Yes! In fact, many people come to breathwork specifically to help with anxiety. The practice helps regulate your nervous system and can be incredibly calming. I'll work with you to ensure the intensity feels manageable and supportive.

After Your Session

Most people feel lighter, calmer, and more clear. Some feel energized, others feel tired. Both are normal as your body processes the experience. Emotions may continue to surface for 24-48 hours. Be gentle with yourself.

Drink plenty of water, rest if you need to, and avoid making major decisions for a few hours. Journaling can be helpful to capture any insights. Be gentle with yourself and allow time for integration.

A single session can create shifts that last days or even weeks. Consistent practice deepens and extends these benefits. Many people find that regular breathwork becomes an essential part of their wellness routine.

Logistics

Sessions are held at the Wellness Collective: 1015 N Council Ave Suite 1, Blanchard, OK 73010. I also offer online sessions for 1:1 clients who can't make it in person.

Yes! I offer virtual 1:1 sessions for those who prefer to breathe from the comfort of their own home or can't travel to Blanchard. The experience is still powerful and transformative.
